WEBFeb 26, 2024 · Thanks for the reply. I tried all options Repair Reset Uninstall and did a restart after each option. Still no scan option in Windows Defender. Unless it is somewhere else as it is not where it used to be. Do you have defender on a pc to see where it is located and scan option is available. I have always just used Defender for my desk top security.

The “Percent complete” progress bar/indicator is not always accurate so you need to check the actual log which will show if the scan completed.
