Battery size/amp for Garmin and Panoptix - In-Depth Outdoors
WEBJan 2, 2019 · My testing showed .8 amps draw at 12 volts on a 93svplus with Panoptics ducer. 20 volt Dewalt 5 amp hour battery gives me 5 hours with all depth, distance and brightness at max settings. I brought in a bunch of 18ah and 30ah amped lithium’s for guys up here. Specifically for panoptix.

WEBDec 28, 2020 · To get the Mega 360 or the new Humminbird Live, you need a G3 or G4 Helix, meaning lots of guys would have to buy a new machine to run the 360 or new Live stuff. If you already own a 7 or 9 inch Garmin from the last couple years, you’ve got the head unit to run Panoptix or Livescope already.

The transducer is mounted on a short piece of 1” pvc for transporting, then attached to a longer piece of 1” pvc to use it on the ice. This was thrown together quickly so I’ll probably redo it this summer.
