When i select the configuration in windows 11 to dts:x for home theaters there is no sound. when i select info on my denon remote it says signal unknown and this is for games also. dolby atmos for home theater works fine and i have paid versions of each from microsoft store.

WEBJun 5, 2020 · Shot answer: possible, but not worth it. Due to HDCP in HDMI, it's pretty difficult to get content into a PC. There are some ways around it, but you won't be able to discuss it here. If all your content is on your PC, it gets a lot easier. Unfortunately, that's easier and not easy. It's still going to take a lot of work and a lot of headaches.

Your Graphics card has got be capable of delivering 4K and working with your AVR or processor. Some processors won't pass the HDMI audio properly coming from HTPC's. I'm running 1080P so things are a little bit simpler for me.
