WEBJul 17, 2024 · i purchased a razer blade 16 4080 with 14900hx in march and i’ve been having increasing issues with it since. to cut straight to the point, the issue is the processor. theres been numerous articles/videos regarding issues with the 13/14 gen chips and they are used in razer laptops.

Since usb 4 is basically the equivalent of thunderbolt 3, does that mean that the Razer core x should be able to plug and play with usb 4 laptops. If so, do they need to be certified thunderbolt ports or will any port that includes usb 4 standards work; also will thunderbolt 3 cables work for usb 4?
