WEBMar 5, 2016 · What you have to do is to learn the pattern on the ishihra plates. It’s enough to learn how a few dots look like in a certain area of each plate. I chose the area at the very top centre of each plate. It’ll take you a while learning that but when you master it you can pass the test even if you print the ishihara plates black and white.

For the difference with the reverse color blindness tests are much more subtle, it's not the same as the typical test. I see 4, 16,12, 10, 46 and 2 circles with squiggly lines.

This is the most common form of colorblindness, present in ~5% of males, whereas Deuteranopia is only around ~1%.

WEBSep 8, 2011 · My experience in Canada: Most "color blind" people can still pass the lantern test, but it is not given unless you request it. I understand the FAA has something similar, I'd look into it. You only need to distinguish red and green lanterns. If you can easily distinguish red and green stoplights, you will not have much trouble.
