Anyway, her replacement (a fresh out of college 23 year old) came to see her new classroom yesterday. As the new teacher and I looked through the cabinets, I was amazed to see that the previous teacher left behind so much junk!

It isn't all cheap though--a lot of the bins were $3 so if you get a bunch it would add up. There was stuff that I felt would be most useful for an elementary teacher as well like pocket charts. I'm still a fairly new teacher (this is my fifth year), but my retired educator parents are still in touch with students they taught going back to the 1970s.
