WEBJun 25, 2022 · Fujipoly Ultra Extreme thermal pads are supposed to be very good and might be less expensive than Thermal Grizly. You might need more than 1 thickness of pad too. Measure all of them, as some might be 1.0mm & others might be 1.5mm.

WEBJun 15, 2020 · I intend to use the Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut pads on the actual die but don't know which to use on the VRMs. Some sources say up to 2.5mm thickness though I feel more inclined to believe the ones that say .5-1mm.

WEBDec 19, 2002 · The mosfet cooling will be a 2mm thick copper strip with 1mm thermals pads that will attach to the board with small nuts, bolts and Artic Alumina adhesive (good stuff). That copper strip will give me some height to clear the other components, on that copper strip I will attach much lighter aluminum heatsinks using artic silver adhesive.

WEBJun 25, 2022 · I have repasted many Vega GPU's and have never used as much TIM as you applied. However, the excess will not hurt anything. You just used more than you really needed to, that's all.
