WEBAug 25, 2021 · Ethanol is much more corrosive than gasoline, and can do real damage over time, even in "Flex Fuel" vehicles. Most vehicles don't care whether they're fed "top tier" gas, if you just add a bottle of Techron every six months you'll be fine. Easier said than done. Ethanol is pervasive in all of our gasoline.

For now, I will watch the list of providers and refuel at brands that are on the list until my favorites return once again.

WEBJun 12, 2024 · At just under 30,000 miles, the Camaro is staying around 27.8 lifetime MPG average using its comparatively cheap 87 octane fuel which is around 1 MPG higher than the 2014 ATS (3.6 with 6 speed) it replaced. The best the CT5 V has done thus far on moderate distance (100 miles) is a touch over 24 MPG.

WEBSep 21, 2020 · As far as Top Tier goes, here in Canada pretty much every brand is considered Top Tier. Maybe some of the smaller stations aren't but there aren't many of those around these days. What in the world isn't Top Tier?? And to update my fuel pricing, I posted yesturday regular fuel was at .94/litre, overnight it shot up to $1.09/litre just like that.

WEBAug 11, 2021 · Suppose you had 1/2 tank of 87 and decided to fill with 93. That gives you a full tank of 90 - not enough to make much difference. Resist the advice and urge to dump various snake oils into the gasoline tank and oil pan. Totally unnecessary. Run a TopTier gasoline, brand immaterial - it's all pretty much the same "gasoline".

Currently there are 3 refineries in Alberta. Gasoline comes from Edmonton to Calgary via pipeline to 2 terminals plus airport terminal. I am guessing a bit but refineries will do regular gas, and ...
