Perfetti, 22, is a restricted free agent who has yet to come to terms with the team on a new deal. As a result, he was nowhere to be found as players hit the ice for the first training sessions.

The Winnipeg Jets and restricted free agent Cole Perfetti haven't reached an agreement for the extension of the forward but the player is confident that a new contract will be finalized ahead of the 2024–25 season, despite interest from other teams.
