A Samsung smart home software update released this week put some users’ Galaxy S10 and Note 10 (including e, Lite, Plus, and 5G versions) and A90 and M51 smartphones in an infinite boot loop, rendering their devices useless.

Samsung pushed an update that broke several older model Galaxy devices, including many in the Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy M51,

It's a problem that may be familiar to some Galaxy S10 owners. Samsung also released an update that broke the phone back in 2019 where users were asked to enter a PIN even though they never made one. Entering any PIN would cause the phone to reboot and ask for the PIN again. Similarly, the only fix was a factory reset.
