New Jersey raised penalties for home invasions, but some argue they still don't go far enough as criminals increasingly target homes with high-end cars.

Three suspects, one of them carrying a crowbar, all wearing hoodies and full face masks, cased out a home in Edison, New Jersey, last year. Manasi Mathur says she awoke to a flurry of camera motion notifications as the trio of youthful-looking suspects tried to find a way into her home.

The new law extends prison time for people convicted of home invasions and burglaries while in possession of a deadly weapon. CBS News New York's Nick Caloway reports.
