Ovechkin (undisclosed) was able to take his skate test Saturday, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports. Ovechkin missed the first two days of training camp as he has been dealing with a minor injury. The 39-year-old managed 31 goals and 34 assists in 79 regular-season games in 2023-24.
