There’s a real possibility when the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers square off, Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert won’t be in the starting lineup. However, head coach Jim Harbaugh isn’t ready to commit to either backup quarterback should Herbert be unable to go.

Justin Herbert's status for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh could come down to a game-time decision after the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback did not practice on Friday because of a high right ankle sprain.

Back before the regular season began, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin named Russell Wilson as the team's starting quarterback. The issue is Wilson has been dealing with a calf injury since training camp that has held him out of action. As it stands right now, Wilson is set to miss Week 3 as well.
