Hurricane Milton has plowed into Florida as a Category 3 storm, pounding cities with winds of over 100 mph after producing a barrage of tornadoes.

Damage was widespread, and water levels may continue to rise for days, but Gov. Ron DeSantis said it was not “the worst-case scenario.”
