Two neighboring homes collapsing within hours in Rodanthe has local officials urging visitors to avoid all beaches in town. Around 9:18 p.m., an unoccupied, one-story home on G A Kohler Court fell down and washed out into the ocean to mark the second home collapse of the day along the stretch of oceanfront homes.
