COLUMBUS, Ohio — Walsh Jesuit‘s undefeated season came to an end Saturday night at Historic Crew Stadium as the Springboro Panthers claimed the school’s first ever state championship in any sport.

In a rematch of the 2016 state final, the Springboro girls soccer team got its revenge in the Div. 1 championship defeating Walsh Jesuit in a penalty-kick shootout for the program’s fist ever state title.

Quinn Anderson had nine saves for Walsh Jesuit, while Wyatt Butler had 11 for New Albany to force PKs with the score tied at zero.
