An attack on a rabbi in Montgomery County on Monday is being investigated as a hate crime, police said.

Police in Maryland are investigating an attack on a rabbi as a hate crime after a man attacked with a wooden stake, authorities said.

There, a Rabbi told police that he was walking down the sidewalk when a man, later identified as 47-year-old Junior Michael Reece, swung a wooden stake at him and hit him for unknown reasons.
