The state of Florida is being hit hard by Hurricane Milton. Many residents have been ordered to evacuate to get away from the potentially catastrophic damage caused by the powerful storm. Many areas of the state are dealing with damage already, including the home of the Tampa Bay Rays.

After making landfall Wednesday night, Hurricane Milton battered the Tampa Bay area with high winds and heavy rains. A storm deployed weather sensor on the public beach at Anna Maria Island, near the mouth of Tampa Bay,

Tropicana Field, home of MLB's Tampa Bay Rays, lost most of its roof as Hurricane Milton tore through Tampa Bay and other parts of Florida with winds up to 120 mph.

Police in Tampa evacuated 15 people, including multiple children, from a home damaged by a fallen tree during Hurricane Milton.

Body camera video shows Tampa police officers evacuating a family after their home had been hit by a tree. The officers were able to get everyone out of the home and transported to the nearest shelter.
