By Alexander Smith BARCELONA (Reuters) -Britain and Italy fought out two closely-contested races on Monday in the America's Cup challenger series, leaving the first-to-seven event finely poised at 3-3 as they bid to take on defenders New Zealand for the 'Auld Mug'.

The syndicates have won a race apiece on day three of racing, to be level at 3-all in the best-of-13 final. Britannia helmsman Sir Ben Ainslie has questioned the Italians' manoeuvres in the day's second race, after tacking away early. The next two races are scheduled for tonight.
