Sep 15, 2024 · Works perfectly. Last time I tried the RA core, it took way longer time to load Sega CD games compared to the standalone emulator. Also, the standalone emulator seems to handle resolutions better and detects game region automatically. SNES: SNES9x Next RA/SNES9x TX. They seem identical performance and compatibility-wise.

Skyward sword is pretty decent if you do a fair bit of modifying to the graphics to get rid of this really ugly acrylic effect the game has. And the best is the metroid prime games. Dolphin is about the only option because it's good enough and well enough maintained that it's made anyone else trying to make a NGC/Wii emulator an exercise in redundancy.
